在北美地區的遊戲展會PAX East上,吉田直樹透露了《最終幻想16》的畫面模式,一共有兩種:畫質優先、性能優先。
畫質優先模式下,將以4K分辨率/30幀運行,需要犧牲幀率換取更高清的遊戲畫面。性能優先模式下,將以2K分辨率/60幀運行,畫面不糊的同時暢享高幀率的流暢體驗。目前暫未得知Square Enix是否有計劃爲《最終幻想16》添加額外的畫面模式,比如1080P/120幀之類的。
《最終幻想16》將於6月22日登陸PS5平臺,並限時獨佔半年。雖然會登陸PC,但具體的發售日期暫未確定,可能並不是12月22日。試玩版預計將在正式發售的兩週前發佈。
As one of the biggest upcoming games of 2023, it’s no surprise that Final Fantasy 16 has generated stratospheric levels of hype and excitement, and as we get closer to its release in June, Square Enix is looking to keep that momentum going. At its recent PAX East panel, the game revealed a new trailer showing off its world and exploration gameplay, while also showcasing new details on its combat, Eikon battles, and more. Meanwhile, as part of the panel, producer Naoki Yoshida also revealed specific details on what players can expect from the game’s previously confirmed Quality and Performance graphics modes. When playing with Quality mode enabled, Final Fantasy 16 will run at 4K and 30 FPS, while on Performance mode, it will run at 1440p and 30 FPS, which is roughly what one would have expected from both modes at any rate. Whether Square Enix has plans for additional graphics modes that will be added to the game down the line remains to be seen. Final Fantasy 16 is due out for PS5 on June 22, with a demo expected to launch roughly two weeks before release. Square Enix also wants to bring the game to PC, but it won’t be anytime soon after its PS5 launch.
