10月23日，iPhone Duo作为苹果首款折叠屏机型正式上市。上市后的本周末，陆续有用户在网上反馈，设备内屏沿铰链中心线出现裂纹，屏幕还伴随有亮线、触控失灵等问题；还有反馈称在展开过程中听到异响。
10月27日，苹果在向9to5Mac发表的声明中表示，公司“已知悉少数iPhone Duo机型的屏幕内侧存在相关问题”，并称受影响的用户可联系售后申请更换。
苹果还表示，该问题似乎会较早出现，大多数iPhone Duo机型不受影响。对于此问题，用户无需购买AppleCare+即可更换。
