恐怖游戏《逃生：试炼》抢先体验版5月18号推出

开发商Red Barrels今日宣布恐怖游戏《逃生》系列新作《逃生：试炼》的抢先体验版将于2023年5月18号发售，登陆 Steam 和 Epic Games Store。

Red Barrels 的联合创始人 Philippe Morin 表示：“过去的封闭Beta测试只是对《逃生：试炼》中即将发生的事情的一个尝试。第一轮的参与者为我们提供了深入的反馈和非常有趣的数据，我们用它们来改善游戏体验。现在我们迫不及待地欢迎更多玩家在5月18日进入抢先体验版加入《逃生：试炼》。”

Image Source: Red Barrels Recall that The Outlast Trials was announced more than three years ago and was expected to be released back in 2021. Subsequently, the game was postponed to 2022, but during that year the authors only managed to conduct the mentioned “beta”. As it became known, The Outlast Trials will go on sale on May 18 for Steam and the Epic Games Store in the early access format. The cost and content of the launch version will be revealed later. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer with voice actors. As for the results of the beta, during the testing period (from October 28 to November 1, 2022), the participants (almost 1 million people applied) played in total for more than 35 years. The developers also revealed other indicators of the players: 225,363 deaths; 656 180 times players were immobilized; 1,841,161 character active skills were used; Gamers spent 352,851,550 seconds (11 years) in night vision mode. According to Red Barrels co-founder Philippe Morin, the closed beta participants provided useful feedback and “very interesting data” that were used to improve the game. The Outlast Trials is set in the Cold War era. Players will take on the role of guinea pigs in the Murkoff Corporation’s secret science lab, where they will have to endure a series of physical and mental tests. The Outlast Trials is the third game in the Outlast series, but not a continuation of Outlast 2, but a cooperative offshoot.
