PS5在日本銷量突破600萬臺

PlayStation 雖然已經有一段時間不再是在日本市場佔據主導地位的遊戲平臺了（任天堂在日本享有絕大部分市場份額），但依然保持着非常強的競爭力。

根據 Famitsu 最近發佈的日本每週銷售數據，在8月最後一週，PS5 在日本售出了超過 33,000 臺，使得其在日本的累計銷量突破了 600 萬臺。值得注意的是，這是在遊戲機及其配件價格顯著上調前的最後一週，這意味着我們可能在短期內會看到相對較低的銷售數字。

另外越來越多的消息指出，索尼即將公佈 PS5 Pro，同時索尼也會參加本月晚些時候的東京電玩展，期待到時能有更加令人激動的消息。

It’s fair to say that PlayStation hasn’t been a dominant force in Japan for some time now, with Nintendo having enjoyed the lion’s share of the market in the region for several generations running, but even so, Sony’s platforms continue to enjoy at least a moderate amount of success. The PS5, for instance, has hit another sales milestone in Japan. As per recently released weekly Japanese sales data from Famitsu, the PS5 sold over 33,000 units in country the week ending September 1, taking its lifetime sales total in Japan to over 6 million units. Interestingly, this was the last week before a significant price increase came into effect for the console and its accessories, which means we can likely expect relatively lower sales at least in the immediate future. Reports have been mounting that Sony is set to unveil the PS5 Pro, with the company also set to have a presence at Tokyo Game Show later this month. Stay tuned for more details on what that entails.
