據業內著名爆料人 Aggiornamenti Lumia 消息，《暗黑破壞神4》將於2023年6月5日晚23時於 XBOX 發售將分爲標準版，數字豪華版以及終極版，大小約80GB。

《暗黑破壞神4》裏的主線劇情雖然依舊採用了線性的方式去呈現，但玩家完成了遊戲序章後能自由選擇五大區域（Region）的攻略順序。

在遊戲中，玩家可以自由探索荒野大世界以及庇護所中的地下城，卻不必擔心走到高等級的區域，因爲《暗黑破壞神4》採用了遊戲世界等級的機制，會隨着玩家等級的變化而調整敵人的強度。
